How It Works

REI is Sacramento’s ONLY TradeUp Dealer. Here’s how to see if your equipment qualifies: 

Step 1: Contact Us

Call 279-221-4180 or schedule a Zoom consultation to trade in your qualified select models of McIntosh mono or stereo power amplifier, preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver and get up to 75%* of its original MSRP as a credit to use towards the purchase of a qualifying new mono or stereo power amplifier, preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver. Source components, multi-channel and home theater products are not eligible.

Step 2: Evaluation

The MSRP of the new TradeUP unit(s) must be equal to or greater than the sum of both the TradeIN unit’s original MSRP and its trade in value as determined by the participating dealer. Customer is responsible for the difference between the total purchase price of the new TradeUP unit(s) and the value of the TradeIN unit.

Step 3: Trade In

All trades must be done through your local participating dealer. TradeIN units must be in good physical condition, must work and must not have been modified or altered from their original design.
